Yea, I thought so too. The spot that ocean liner is parked in usually can hold 2 compact cars :D

Now it's occupied by one REAL car!!
Probably enough material in that one Caddy to make two compact cars.

Your source is wrong.

It's a 1960 Caddy.

59's had gigantic fins.

1960 Eldorado ..... the '59 had the twin bullet taillights at the middle of the V in each fin. I initially thought it was a '61.

No it is a 60.

Yup. If it was a year older and had two more doors I would say Zack was in town.

You are right it is a ’60 but it is a deville, look at the lettering on the quarter panel
The L’D would have a lot more Chrome on it and it would have L’D on the front fender
just behind the headlights both sides.
Ebay has one for sale, Item number:120743820580, it’s not what you would want to
have. Mike I like your neighbor’s car. I do know Cadillacs, I have owned 4 to date
currently I have a 08 STSV.

1960 Deville is correct. Ive always loved the 59-60 Caddys. My favorite is still the 59 Superior sideloader hearse like the one in Harold and Maude.

Regardless of the exact model I still think the 59-60 Caddys were sort of the pinnacle of US car design. I know they had questionable mechanicals/electricals when compared with todays cars but the body style was unique, futuristic and beautiful. Might have handled like a Sherman tank but I dont think it could be beat cruising down Main St at 20 mph with the windows down on a summer evening.

When Burts mother treaded his 59 Superior in for that Jag ........
But he got back making the Jag into a Hearse. Love Ruth Gordan in the
Movie Movie.

The 59 Caddy may be the icon because of the huge fins, but the 60 is a much better looking car, IMHO.

That thing looks mean. If it was on blocks in my yard, it wouldn't just keep the deer out of my garden it would keep the bears out to.
