I agree it will never happen but loose the wing and ground effects I can see a CTS-V killer in the making. 2014 if supposed to be the global Ford deadline. I would love to see the Austrian Falcon(no plan:bs:) and the European Focus ST(will happen;)) in the states.

With the new CAFE standards coming out Ill bet each manufacturer will make maybe one high powered V8 car and the rest will be smaller high tech econoboxes. If you want a reasonably priced high powered car you had better go out and buy a new Mustang/Camaro/Challenger soon. Their days are numbered, count on it.

I really don't think Ford is ever going to build a Marauder. And even if they did, it wouldn't be a Mercury Marauder (Mercurys are better cars after all). I believe those lucky '04 owners have the last Marauders ever to be made by the Ford Motor Co.

5.4 is a dead engine, there are 5.8 test mules based of the new 5.0 running will it ever happen in anything short of a GT500 probably not. I would guess with the new fuel requirements Fords new 5.0 and turbos will become the premium engine. Hellion made 552HP and 605TQ on 6 psi with auto trans the manual trans made 640HP 748TQ on the same 6 psi. Stay out of the boost and you still get 26 mpg highway and 17 mpg city:cloud9:.

Is that the reason they are not coming to United States?It's ONE reason. The other is that it would be too expensive to convert it to left-hand drive and make all the necessary mods to "federalise" the car...bumper heights, crash-worthiness, headlights, emissions, etc. Every time you change anything about the car's structure or drivetrain, you have to re-certify everything and those tests are stupid-expensive.

I believe the outgoing models had a NA 5.4 in it at 388hp.
But a supercharged new 5.0 at only 448hp? Aren't the new 5.0s rated at 412hp?
So, that would be... like 3 psi of boost?
Just saying.
Oh, and I think it would need to have about...... 100 more hp to be even considered a CTS-V killer. Some how 448hp vs 556hp doesn't look like a good match up.
