I just made a quick trip up to see my uncle Danny at his restaurant in Eldersburg, MD yesterday. Just wanted to get his blessing and see if he would be ok with a bunch of us meeting up and he said he would be delighted. So I've decided to pick Saturday, July 9 at 2:00 PM. This gives people some time to plan because I know Carlisle is coming up, as well as Fathers' Day and Independence Day.

I'd like to get an accurate headcount at least a week or a couple days prior.

headcount is definitely preferred, from the original thread, looks like I've got 35 confirmed people.

We definitely want to make sure we have enough tables and chairs for everyone coming!

My wife and I are coming, so that's two from Fairfax. Plus, Ryan is from Purceville and his fiancee is from Tyson's Corner, so maybe they'll convoy up as well.

Yeah be heading up 15 to 340 to 70 and then whatever exit takes me to eldersburg (I forgot, I think it's exit 82 towards Taneytown, but I'm really bad with MD roads).

I will avoid the beltway since I'm coming from Purcellville, it just makes sense to keep on heading down 15.

Honestly if this is too far out for everyone else, then no worries. If I'm the only one taking 15 then I can get an early start and get to my uncles restaurant beforehand and help set up. It's up to you guys, just let me know what's convenient!

I'm gonna take the B&W Parkway (MD-295) to Laurel and pick up MD-32W through Sykesville to Liberty Road. Will probably be departing here around 11:30 AM to get to the area about 1:00 PM. Meet ya'll at the Crab House before 2:00 PM. Save me a spot. ;)

Added a single vote because niece Rachel will be attending with us. Don't know about eating crabs, probably off the menu. If either of us do eat crabs, it will only be a few of them.

Sherm and I plan to be there. I will be eating crabs and Sherm off the menu. I have a buddy that wants to come but he can't commit yet, he will eat crabs if he comes.
