Where's my painting crew bodyman and 03farmmarauder LOL?? I have solvent pop here and there in the new hood thanks to my painter friend who hosed the livin crap out of it! Plus the moisture that shot out of his gun...

It isn't horrible, and I know the only real way to fix is to sand it down and reshoot. I cut and buffed it already once but admit to running out of time and putting a rush to it. As we all know, the more you wet sand, the more tiny white specs will show.. Anyways, I have some more time today to cut and buff it more flat, because honestly right now I can't stomach the thought of painting it again.

I had good results on the last cut with turtle wax's black wax followed by my usual Mequiars 2.0 tech. I am sure there will be quite a few more specs this time around and was wondering, outside of painting, if you two knew of a better solution? Thank you, Gods of paint, brothers!

Sorry to hear that Bob.
I do have to tell you that everyday I love the hell out of my hood. It's awesome.

Solvent popping usually requires a strip and re-paint, and on fiberglass, that will require more priming and blocking (repeat about 6 times, at least mine did, plus the fitting) to make the hood nice.

Sorry to hear your having problems with it...
