Well I'm going to go pick up my new daily tomorrow... or today rather. A 1995 Thunderbird Supercoupe! Exterior is damn near mint other than a tear in the rear bumper cover, interior is clean. It's got a 3.8 liter supercharged v6 with a factory intercooler mated to a 4 speed auto transmission. Woohoo!! I'll post more details and pics when I pick her up! :burnout:

Well a bunch of my buddies have some. One in particular just picked up a bone stock 1994 with 44,000 miles. Interior even smells new. All my friends are 3800 nuts. In my driveway yesterday there were 2 gtp's (one we twin-charged last week), 3 supercoupes, my mm, a 67 el camino and a grand prix gt turboed. lol. I got talked into getting this but the price is definitely right!!

Talk to Blown3.8 if you have any questions on stuff with the car as he has a sick one!

After my working on my friends SC so many times, I think I know more about the SC then the Marauder.

Good luck with it!

MMMMM I've always wanted a Super coupe. I've had 2 turbo coupes, 3 v8 birdies and 2 3.8 birdies. Love 'em!

Thanks everyone. I have a 4.2 stroker with taurus police package heads that flow better than the stock sc heads, stage 2 comp cams cam with matching springs among other things, 60# injectors and ready to be tuned for e85. I'm stoked! This thing'll ****'n'git when I'm done! Didn't know that many people love sc's!

Well I couldn't pass it up on the price. He pulled the motor and "rebuilt it" and it need to go back in the car. Instead of trusting someone elses shotty work I already have my own motor. Tranny's good though and if not I have a spare 4r70w to throw at it. Body is mint and he's asking 950. I'm paying him 700 and he doesn't know it yet. But if I were to just throw in a motor that runs I could easily resell for 3k to 3500 easily. And with a bunch of friends with sc's I could make one with their spare parts. lmao

The car we replaced with The Blackbird was a '94 SuperCoupe. Had it for 9 years and 155,000 miles with no major repairs...just a fuel pump and a clockspring. I loved that car...was quicker off the line than the MM. Word of caution from one who knows: don't try to drive it in the snow without GOOD snowtires.

Also don't mod it!! My friend Damon has been chasing so many issues on a perfectly mint supercoupe ever since he put a bigger blower on it.

I have a lot of experience with these 3.8's and have a pretty good team backing me up. I can pull and reinstall a motor in around 6 hours completely. And this isn't being driven in the snow. Got a gtp for that

In 1992 instead of the SC Thunderbird, I opted for the Cougar XR7.
It had the 5.0L HO engine and it had a dampening button for
a stiffer( sport ) or softer ride. I always drove in sport mode.
MY neighbors tree fell and crushed it.

T Didn't know that many people love sc's!

Not all of us do and that's for sure...

I love the Fox Birds, just a shame in stock form they were all pretty much gutless... BTW I've owned 14 '87-'88 Turbo Coupes so am more than familiar with those...

Good luck with it...

Well the I wouldn't say gutless... My marauder is slower than my buddys 94 sc basically stock and I run a 14.3 consistently at 600 ft. Granted his sc has the updated 4r70w that's in the 03 mustang and a little higher stall tc. I take him in the top end though but at the elevation my marauder is absolutely slow and he takes me from a dig very single time even with his open diff but from a roll we're door to door. I hate being n/a racing at 6,000 ft!!

Very cool! I've got a 89 Super Coupe and just bought a Marauder for the daily driver :)

Oh, and there are still great deals on SC's out there. Here was a REALLY nice 93 that tempted me for several months.
