I thought they decided to discontinue the jeep srt8? I guess I was wrong!

Nope! Has their new 465HP 6.4L Hemi in it.
I like the older body style a lot better than the new one.

Yup I have to agree, I'm not sure if I like the rear end of the jeep, and what's the asking price?

If only Jeep would pull its head out of where the sun don't shine, and put a v8 into a wrangler... and/or a small diesel...
The grand cherocar is nice, the best thing about them is that they lose value so fast that you can pick up a few yr old one for pennies on the dollar... I wish the SRT8 version did the same thing but no joy :(

When did DOOMie trade in his Marauder for an SRT8 Jeep?
I thought that he hated SRTs???

I think the sticker is $50-53k, wait 2-3 years and grab a used one for $15-20k after being on lease. lol

The tuning must be awesome on these things, to be able to control the amount of power going to any of the wheels is a very powerful option.
I wonder if they fixed all of the whirring and clicking that comes along with the traction control system in the 05+ Cherokees. Last time I drove one it sounded like a Rube Goldberg machine in the snow. I thought it was going to blow up.
I love the (silent) Quadra Drive in my 04 Overland but I would trade it for a quiet computer controlled system like this that I could tune!!! :D

They have a "Track Mode" on the new ones.

I need a suv that cost 50k so that I can toss my Bike on top and tow a boat really fast. Then hit a button just so I can do a burnout. Yea that's right

I heard that Dodge is doing another goofy thing. They are going to "rebrand" SRT vehicles, and SRT will be its own nameplate now, the way they turned Dodge trucks into "Ram".

The 06's (first year) with high miles still retail for 25 grand, these things hold their value damn well for being gas guzzling cheap chrysler products. I'd still love to get a WK1 SRT8, the new ones are ok but they are to refined and bland compared to the old ones.
Now, put the new interior + engine in the old body, and count me in

I hated the last version of the GC. This new body and interior is vastly better, imo.

63k for the one I looked at. They handle like a Vette, that is the ONLY ride I would consider swapping the MM for.
