Its a 2002 on the back it says police interceptor so does this motor have pi heads and intake Thanks

Anyone can buy the PI badge and stick it on the car...so don't be too sure.

PI means power improved, not police interceptor. From 1996... earlier for crown vics... 1993 till 1998 2 valve engines had poor flowing heads which killed the power potential of the engines. 1999 was the first year for what ford labeled PI heads...power improved. Any car after 1999 with a two valve ford engine has the PI heads. If its a sport with a police interceptor badge...someone put that there during their ownership of the car as an add on.

correction pi heads weren't put on crown vics until 01. They were on the mustangs at the time but the 98-2000 crown vics have the non-pi heads.

Yup. Mustangs 99, trucks 2000 and crown vic 2001. I think vans in 02 or so but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
