My car still tracks straight as an arrow, pulls harder than before, gets 19.5 mpg consistently, and has not been in the garage yet besides oil changes. Just thought I share that since I seen a lot of negative posts. Am I the only one that is happy? I'm bored with my car and usually trade every year since I am in the car business but I can't find anything that I like under $30k. The more I think about it the more grateful I am of the MM. It is big, mean and fast as b@lls. This could be the first time in 18 years that I keep a car longer than a year.

I think it’s just about the same with any car out there. Problems will arise. It will look like there are alot of problems if we are all talking about the same exact car. Not to mention it’s a car that alot of us are taking to the track on the weekends to abuse :)

It seems to me like everyone here or at least the vast majority love their cars. I only have about 1000 miles on mine but I have enjoyed every mile sofar.

Try checking out one of the euro car message boards or Dodge.... I bet there are many more problems listed on any of those message boards.

I still love mine! Besides, there's NOTHING else in it's class. The so-called competitors are tiny by comparison.

Hey...Don't get me wrong. I absolutely love mine, and I plan on keeping it, but I have had more than my share of troubles with a car that's just a year old. My blown tranny is probably an aberration, but it's kind of spooky. I accelerate from the lights, yes, but I've never raced it. Hell, I drive every car I own just like I drive the Marauder, and I've never had a transmission problem before. I've got 27000 on it. I'll be out of the 3yr, 36000 warranty next year. I've got ESP coverage, but if I didn't and this had happened outside of warranty, I would have been one toasty hot pup. This is the 3rd service my car has had since March '03. Thankfully, my dealer provides me with EXCEPTIONAL service...

I agree with jo...we now have just 20,000 miles on the Blackbird and have had no issues worth mentioning, other than the tires...the only car I would consider trading her in for is the 2005 S/C version...(hopefully)

If you guys want to see a real load of problems, with really new cars, visit any of the Land Rover forums out there and you'll see what I mean...........
