I have a chance to buy a very clean 64 buick riviera...Body is a 9....new white paint.5 coats of clear.interior needs some work...asking 5900,I'm sure I could get it for 5k...What do you think???Running original 425 wildcat engine..original trans..car is running. speedo says 74000,might be 175000.:confused:

1964 is my favorite year for the riviera. Thats a great deal and they look awesome restored.

+1 on the '64's, IMO, they were the best looking cars Buick ever built.

Go for it. Hope you have a big garage to work on it and not some 2-Honda-sized garage.

I had a 63 Riv, nice car but it wasn't a muscle car.
FWIW, the 1971 Riv GS is one of my top ten "gotta have" cars before I die.

63. 64, I like them a lot
Not sure as to hidden hightlights or not.
I think the Gran Prix we nice in those years As well

Not only for size (garage) but working on it. Cause thats about the most you do with old ones anymore! Ive owned 5-diff old cars 3 I restored and it seemed like I was fixing the car's more than I was engoying them. Anymore I like just going to car shows and seeing them but no more for me. Give me FI and less then 15yrs old. Dont even get me started on hidden rust
