MV9 Coordination

I know there are several of us Carolina Marauder folks planning to attend MV9; post up your tentative plans and maybe we can work logistics for the trip up and back.

Terry and I are taking a full week of vacation for this, and plan to do some sightseeing in western PA prior to MV. As for the trip back, we're planning to head out on Sunday after the festivities wrap up and will prolly drive about 1/2 way home on Sunday and then just take a leisurely drive back the remainder of the way on Monday.

Rex lets try to coordinate, Karen and I may tag along. It will be a parade of Blues. We were heading to N. Carolina for a stop then head to Hershey. You welcome to stay at daughters for a night or two. Anylonger you cay never want grand children around you. LOL

As long as we can get a dog sitter and the weather is ok --we will be going up as well. If all that is good, we will be leaving on Tuesday and arriving on Wednesday most likely.

She won't drive my car any more, put on around 50 miles last April on the way back from KY and that was it. Pulled into the next wayside, go out and told me, "you drive it, I don't LIKE this car..." :(

I will be driving from my place to Charlotte on Wed afternoon, then from Charlotte to MV9 on Thursday.

I plan on driving from MV9 all the way back to my place on Sunday. I could take Monday off, but would have to burn 5 vacation days (thurs thru Mon) versus only two if I work Monday. Tryin' to keep from burning up my vacation time before I retire.

If I don't take any time off between now and the week of MV9, I may change my mind and head up a day earlier, but 95% certain I will stick with original plans. I will be taking a day off later this month (for my son's birthday) and might be taking a day in September, if I go to the Packers/Panthers game.

Hey Rex, we could see them twice this year...Sep 18th at Carolina and Oct 9th in Atlanta....
