Waiting on our baby

Well ladies and gentlemen, I never psoted it up before but... My wife and I have been expecting. And now I'm sitting her typing this in the hospital while my wife, Patika, rests in bed. Today is our due date for our first baby and she is actually in labor. She's been in labor since about 0130 last night. Soon I'll be posting up a picture of the newest Hackleman that isn't a Dog, Cat, or Car!!

Well she made her arrival at 840 pm central standard time on her exact due date. Her name is Amira Sofia Hackleman. Weighed in at 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long. Shes awesome. This is our first child. She quiet and loves sucking her thumb. Patika is doing good, her blood pressure is still up a bit but otherr than that all is good. We should be released to go home tommorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers. Our new adventure begins!! Here she is being held by Grandma!!!

My sister's BP was elevated during pregnancy and after birth too. Glad to hear everyone is doing well though.

Maybe in a few months. They usually want to eat every two hours. I was really happy to have been on A Line when mine were new borns. Get some points by offering to feed her once a night.
