Totally agree.

GM's Alan Adler said this:
"It is unusual to have this occur. However, it is possible for a driver to create conditions where the air bag sensors believe a rollover is imminent. This can lead to an unwanted air bag deployment. On rollover side curtain bags, the vehicle's rollover sensing system is looking for a certain set of factors that "predict" a vehicle is going to roll over. The airbag system cannot wait until it is too late to deploy the airbags. Drifting or creating a situation that has a certain combination of speed and vehicle angle can lead to an unwanted air bag deployment."

Agreed! i had T tops in my Buick which ran low 9s, but then again it had a full frame, and a 8 point cage.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some do it with a stock GM rear end... and we both know 1.3s aren't gonna happen with those :p Actually, all of the t tops I've seen fly off were in the 2nd half of the track, on the power adder cars - probably after 100mph :D

My old 98 didn't have t tops, but it did soak me going through a carwash because the window never sealed right...

And that ladies and gentlemen.......is why you leave that stupid drifting to the Ricer Retards!....:shake:

If you want to test your car and your driving skill, take it to a road course and let 'er rip!
