My bad, sorry. Texting is too short of communication, you don't get the whole story. I called for the long version. We apparently crossed stories during responses. No room was cancelled, it was the "event registration". It was simple mis-communication.

My room got cancelled. As you know from my Kentucky posts and actions, I like to split a room. The friend I was spliting a room with had it cancelled (against thier will) and hence, my room. I didn't think it mattered who's name the room was in, so I didn't put it in my name. I was being quiet in the posts for a little "show up" suprise. Some suprise.

The rooms in the "Marauderville" block ( for which I, and the planning committee, negotiated a discount for you and all of our mm.net members), needs to be booked by and occupied by MM.net members. Anyone else is free to book a room at the hotel at the regular hotel rate. :) To be clear, the room must have been canceled by the person who booked it.

...and yet it just got cancelled for the 4th time. You think you have some input and control, but it is illusinary. Not sure why you're saying this since it doesn't apperar to be correct. :confused:
I figured from your comments who had booked the room and just now called the hotel. The reservation has not been cancelled by anyone according to the hotel clerk!! In fact he gave me the confirmation number. PM me and confirm who booked the room for you and I'l give you the number. :) The only thing that may happen is that the rate may be different since all the Marauderville rooms are for MM.net members which I'm sure you'll agree is only fair.

Thank you for clearing that up Erin. You're forgiven. :D And just to clarify...you need to be an MM.net member to register for Marauderville. That's because it's organized, supported and heavily subsidized by the site owners and mm.net members. All members are invited to come, so please know you are welcome.
