I guess novelty channels are a reality of life.:shake: Do they have the Dr. Demento channel too?

Disco sucked in the 70's and it still sucks today. I give the channel 3 months:puke:

I have the Sirius on every time I start the engine in either vehicle, and I also have a receiver hooked up in the house. I listen to the radio a whole loe more than I watch TV.

I was on channel 6 the other day when I heard the ad for the Studio 54 channel. I quickly tuned the radio and was transported back to my Grad School days. At age 64, I refuse to wear Polyester again. I endure a polyestar lab coat... that's my limit. It was good to hear the music. That was a time when my feet could move faster than my lower intestines. Now... the reverse happens.

I picked up the ad on channel 7 today.

I hear you about the polyester. Some things long gone NEED to stay that way... ;)

I was John Travolta's science teacher when he lived in Englewood NJ(1972).

I never looked like John in polyester.

We met five years ago on CBS when they brought him back to the high school. I used to drive him to the airport when he was 16 and getting his pilots license. He asked "what ever became of my 1970 Boss 302" that I drove him to Teterboro airport in. I told him to look in the parking lot of the school. I still have the car and drove it to school that day.
He still looks better in Polyester!!!!!

He still looks better in Polyester!!!!! Great story, Jim! And I'm a closet Saturday Night Fever fan. Still think it's John's best film.;) Wasn't crazy about Grease. Wonder what he thinks his "best" was...?

His best performance was Boy in a Bubble, a made for TV movie. Next I give him Pulp Fiction, and then Broken Arrow.

BreadFan is more of a doing your homework kind of tune as it has that annoying slow part at around the 2:50 mark. Blitzkrieg is a definite toe tapper.

Put it this way Bob with Disco(sucks) you have to learn steps and moves that go with the noise. With Blitzkrieg you can just flop around like you just got electrocuted and you are dancing like a pro:P:D
