I've been a member here for three years, and have never posted any photos, yesterday we went out and did a small photo shoot with the MM, and the new truck, and would like to know the rules for photo size, and Quantity in a post.

You have Gallery space in the Photo gallery - link in the navigation bar up above. The smaller the photo, the more you can fit because you have a certain amount of space (75MB for Registered Members; 150MB for Contributing Members). Your other option is to host the photos elsewhere - Photobucket? - and link the photos to a thread, etc.

In a post, you are limited to 100KB per photo. Much better to use your Photo Gallery so all your photos are together and not spread out through threads. You can insert a photo image into a thread from the Gallery so it appears in the thread but the photo source then resides in the Gallery and not only in the thread. Do be aware, if you do this, that bigger isn't always better. Very large photos skew the browser window and is annoying if the thread loads slowly because of the size of photos.
