Okay, first off. *****. I am furious at my MM. These last three months have been nothing but trouble. First off, my radiator fan went. Then my air ride quit on me. Then, I tore a break disk in half. Today, I fixed my air ride and breaks. I put new rotors and pads in the rear. I drove about 20 miles and then my A.B.S. light came on. Breaks work fine, and I am not hearing any grinding/rubbing from the rear end. The calipers were not taken apart, therefore I did nothing with fluid levels. The break fluid level is still fine. Why on earth would my A.B.S. light be on, any suggestions on problems. I have no days off from work till next week, so I have no time for a tear down.

New addition to my problem. :) Now my check engine light is on. As stated before I did work on my air ride today, I have the compressor pulled out and obviously disconnected right now. Could that be the reason for the check engine light? This is getting out of hand. This car is becoming harder and harder to love.

RAS compressor will not cause a Check Engine light...you need to get the codes read.

Re-check your rear ABS sensors to make sure they have not come loose or fallen out of the socket --normally kept in place by a screw and a magnet in case screw falls out---but some times they can come loose or not installed correctly....this will give you an ABS light and possibilly the engine code light cause its "ON".....let us know--

When you took the brakes apart, did you spray brake cleaner and completely clean up the area? Its possible you have dirt and crap either on the ABS sensor or the ring on the axle, also check the wire going to the sensor in case you chaffed or cut it during the job.

You would have touched the air intake and unplugged the MAF to do the compressor swap. Check to make sure your connections are tight and the MAF is completely plugged in.
Experience any hard starts or a surging idle?
