I love the fact that it has a good range 15 - 150 lb/ft.
And, it can switch between lb/in and lb/ft? That is definitely a plus....
What type of warranty are you offering on this tool?
-thanks.

Some torque wrenchs have a feature that the can measure how many degrees a bolt is being tightened this comes in handy when installing torque to yield fasteners. A tty bolt for example may have to be tightened to 30ftlbs then and aditional 90 degrees.

We certainly didn't mean to leave any Canadians out of the mix. Unfortunately, shipping to Canada is a lot more than shipping within the US, so the $99 special doesn't work. Why don't you PM me and I will let you know the extra shipping cost to Canada, and you can then let me know if it makes sense for you.
BLMW

We do not currently offer this feature, but it is something that we are working on and it should be available mid-next year.

Do you carry any wrenches that go up to 250 Foot pounds?
This was posted live, in real time.
Jimmy from BMW responded to me in an e-mail. He said the coupon code was linked to the wrench with case version. But he will reimburse me the difference.
Thanks Jimmy and BMW.

My new torque wrench arrived last night. It's a beautiful instrument and large enough to tightened everything that needs torquing above 15 ft lbs on our cars.
We updated the initial post, but wanted everyone to know that the special is active again for the upcoming Holidays (until Dec. 31st). It makes a great gift. Let us know if you have any questions.

You can always ship it as a gift.
I know I sent things to Germany as gift. No trouble.
Of course that was a few years ago.
I had also heard that if it wasn't completely assumbled it came in as parts.
Just some thoughts on the subject.

Our repair / calibration facility is located in Chicago in case...
Can the wrench be re-calibrated anywhere (that recalibrates tool), or does it have to be sent to BLMW for recalibration?
Crossing the border for tool repair isn't exactly ideal for me.

My Craftsman DigiTork Torque Wrench finally expired after 31 years!
(Bought that sucker in '81!)
Sears pulled their:..."The Craftsman lifetime guaranty is only for hand tools and wrenches....*NOT torque wrenches!" B.S. on me so......
I told Marianne that I wanted the Brownline Torque Wrench for $99 including shipping.
She went online and put in the 'MM' code for the discount and we received the Torque Wrench a few weeks ago.
IT is a SWEET, quality tool!
Only problem is that I have to wait for Christmas to use it!......:(
I will report back next week once I get my greedy hands on it!
Thanks Brownline!
*I know for a fact that when I bought that Craftsman DigiTork Wrench, Sears had a lifetime guaranty on it.

Sears used to do that to me all the time with tape rulers. I snapped two or three a year. They finally said only the yellow ones or was it the red ones were guaranteed for life. which ever color it was it became impossible to find that color anymore. They did the same thing with aviation snips as I used to go through a pair a year. I don't buy my tools there anymore, no guarantee no patronage.:)

Takes a lot of time and effort to make a Frankenstein monster:rolleyes::lol:
Seriously I was a general carpenter for most of my adult life and tape measures routinely snap somewhere between the tip and the 18" mark. Must have gone thru a 100 or so in the 25 years. Snips are used for flashing work and cutting things they weren't designed to cut but were handy at the time. Must have gone thru a dozen hammers as well. Sears always honored the warranty on the hammers.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new product that we are just introducing: Digital Angle Gauge (http://brownlinemetalworks.com/angle-gauge.php)
As you can see, it is a small Digital Angle Gauge that attaches to any ratchet or breaker bar and measures angular rotation for Torque-to-Yield / Torque Turn applications.
Also, we still have the $99 special on our Digital Torque Wrench if you are interested.
