Make certain you fill out the warranty cards. In many cases by doing so you get an extended warranty.
Any parts installed by a shop be sure to ask for all the warranty paper work.
Some warranties start the day the product is first purchased. If the shop buys it January 1 and you get the vehicle June 30th the warranty may have started January 1.
