Too funny. The storm has been raining here since 0300 hrs and the wind has now picked up. We really don't need 4-5" of rain. :shake: Well, atleast I don't have to shovel it... :D

1" of rain is the equivilant of 10" snow.

Thats a medium weight snow fall average. 1" of lake effect water in snow form is a lot more.
Blizzard of 93 = 48" of snow with 60 mph winds. Our schools were closed for 2 days... The following year we had a "snow burst" over us for 12 hours, 37" of snow.
