No it wouldn't. There are many here that drive a forced induction MM as their DD.

Thats youre choice there are several good options out there! 1. Trilogy its a roots type complete kit Eaton M112 but kinda pricey but great kit 2. A centrifigual blower Thru Dennis Rheinhart Vortech or Paxton also a complete kit & fairly priced also good kit 3. Eaton swap that is you locatting all the parts also a roots type Like a 03 Cobra but could be done the cheapest if you get deals on the parts. Its all in what you want all of them have good & bad youre car youre choice:D Thats 3 verey good options

Id have to agree on that, the vortech air 2 air kit is much more forgiving when it's 95+ out

Procharger everyday here. If it's 100 or -17 I drive it. Just be sure to keep tools in the trunk and spare clamps and other spare parts!

Its what happens when you delete your EGR. Even though its disabled in the tune, the computer continues to search for it and throws a light when it cant find it. It happens with all Eaton swaps unless you can figure out a way to reconnect/fab up your EGR. You could also make your computer not even look for it, but that caused an instant and confusing 30HP power drop off at the same point every run.....so i just live with the light and hook up the Xcal2 every so often to make sure that its still the same codes.

No cutting of the cowl on my Eaton swap. The only cutting, welding and bending needed was of the EGR tube. Modified tube in Justbobs right hand. Stock tube in his left.
Nothing but room for the EGR!! Room to spare.
No check engine light has ever come on yet!! Wooo hooo!!

Dont have that problem? My EGR is deleted Only code I have ever thrown is the stupid BS P0190 fuel pressure sensor Both of mine throw that code everyonce in a while Like twice a year.

Mine was looking for the manifold differential pressure valve, it's the top plastic part of the EGR. I disconnected it from the EGR (a couple of plastic tabs hold it in), hooked up the electrical connector and vacuum signal, tucked it behind the blower and no more codes.

I drive my Trilogy with 4.10's, headers, convertor etc. all year round. It drives fine in the winter as long as I put on winter tires and drive like a white man. Don't fear having a supercharged MM as a daily driver as long as you pay attention to it, they're not like a high HP fox Mustang with a flimsy floorpan and bad suspension geometry that tries to kill you when you least expect it.

Yea it doesnt even come on enough to be aggrevating. Seems like a few S/C folks get it quite often. All it is,is the sensor get's confused ussually due to a quick spike in fuel pressure. Never had one go bad myself but I know alot of cobra guy's carry a spare in the car. KB has a disk to prevent it from happening and really all it is is a washer.

Vortech and Novi are made at the same place. Mine is the NOVI 1200 series. Dennis Reinhart is working on an install of a Y7 Vortech which I believe woud be the Novi 2500 series.

I did an Eaton swap last November, drive the car daily, very reliable.
Nice thing about a Roots-type blower is the increased low end power.
