Love those 56 Fords.

I had a 55 Ford convert back in 1960, but with just a little bit of changes in the side chrome and adding the lower roofline on all 2 dr hardtops (with or without the chrome B pillar), the 56 looked so much better than the 55 and the 56 Chevy.

My boss back then had a 56 Ford 2 dr wagon, three speed column OD (probably had a lower rear end ratio). Thunderbird engine emblem on the front fenders.

Car could really run.
