Having some autocross fun with my 96 SL320 yesterday at Turner Field! The SL320 is stock - except for the 18's with 140k miles on it. 3.2L IL 6 banger, 4000+ pounds. It ran a better time than a CTS V.

Sweet, Sounds like the cts-v needed a driver mod.

Sharp car, man! What's with the yellow cones laying down, they tell you which side of the orange ones to stay on or did someone knock them over.

Thanks! Yes, the cone laying down is pointing to the side of the cone standing up that you have to drive around. They try to use the yellow cones as pointer markers, but they will also use orange if they run out of yellow cones.

Each cone location is marked with chalk, and if the cone is moved out of the box, if you will, it is a deduction scored against your time.

My video is from an elevated view, and makes it look kind of easy. When sitting in the car, it is like a sea of cones you have to navigate through.

Here is a video of a Miata running the same course with different views from the car I found on You Tube. This is the same day and course as seen in my video.
