.... to get yourself registered for Marauderville IX (MV9).

The countdown clock continues to tick off the seconds, minutes, hours and days until the big event. TODAY IS THE DAY that the activities commence.

I plan to get to the hotel at about mid-day on Wednesday, 12 October 2011 'cause I don't want to miss a minute of ALL the fun that has been planned.

Where will YOU be on 12-16 October?? :dunno:

The MV9 planning team has gone ABOVE and BEYOND in making this year's annual gathering an event to remember.

Still waiting to hear from 21 people. Some said they were definitely coming to MV9. Others were undecided and still checking.

ITS TIME TO GET OFF THE FENCE AND JUST DO IT. You really don't want to miss out on this one.

1. Meet all the other on-site members and improve your MM.Net experience.
2. Be part of the fun instead of just a Forum observer.
3. Take advantage of a unique opportunity to see 60+ MMs on display.
4. Participate in the "mile long" MM parade with police escort.
5. Walk away with lasting memories and many new friends.

Thank you Charlie!

It's not too late!

You should plan to register by October First
to ensure you'll get your goodie bag (which is full of some really great gifts!), and that you'll get a Tee Shirt in the size you need and your nametag.

We do need to know how many will be in Hershey for this event so we can get a headcount out to all the people who need to know (museums, train, Casino, banquet facilities, dragstrip, police departments, hotel, parking arrangements etc.)

Remember that if you still need a hotel room you need to contact me and I will do everything possible to get one for you at the discounted rate. But please don't wait too long as the hotel is filling up quickly.

Your Planning Committee really is committed to showing you a great time!

Most of all... we just want to see you there!

It happened to work out that I will be in the rough region for my brother's wedding. Additionally, the wife is going to take time off for wedding and a little extra for MV. It will be the first time we've seen each other since... Umm...

Huh...

I think April...

Hi -

Sorry for the late post. I'm registered for the hotel on Fri and Sat nights (overlooking parking lot).

The family and I (4 of us - Wife, 2 kids, 12 and 7) will be getting into Hershey on Friday at ~5PM.

We want to go to:

The drag race and Friday night activities
Hershey Park on Saturday (Maybe for a 1/2 day to be part of the MM activities in the afternoon/evening).
MV IX activities on Saturday night (What time is the banquet?)
Leave Sunday morning

How should we slice/dice the activities? I've seen the registration page and it's very complete but I'm not sure how I should register.

Any help will be greatly appreciated - PM me with a phone number if it would be easier to discuss over the phone.

Thanks again,

Mark

Hey Mark,
Hershey park is closed during the day during this part of the season. There is a Hersheypark after dark attraction that takes place, you'll have to look up the scheduling. The activites are in order each day,
Wednesday is registration
Thursday is the Civil war museum, and chocolate world.
Friday, is the Strausburg railroad and museum with drag racing at night.
Saturday is our car show, AACA museum and our raffles. Saturday night is the banquet dinner at 7pm.
Sunday is the farewell breakfast.
Registration gives you discount admission to all these event plus added perks.

99 people and 61 cars! WTG!!

I fully expect us to hit at least 115 people and 65 cars!!! The sooner we can get these folks registered, the better!

T-shirt order is going in this week and while we'll order some extra, 4XL, 5XL and 6XL won't be available unless you register ASAP before the order goes in.

I can tell you the Planning Team of Paul, Voula, Eric, Paula, Gordon, Chris, Connie and Jack, has done such a thorough and detailed job in covering every aspect of the Event including multiple road trips for all of them to visit each location!! What an amazing team!

Hey Mark! I'm glad you and your family will be able to make it. As far as Saturday goes, Hershey Park opens at 2:00 according to this schedule - http://www.hersheypark.com/hours/index.php. The banquet dinner Saturday night (starting at 7) will be fun for both kids & adults. We will have a buffet style dinner including dessert and there will be a 180 floor to ceiling view of the live horse races so it will be something fun to watch.

SEE EVERYONE THERE!!!!!!

Just a reminder to those that have not registered......

Whether you're joining us Wednesday to Sunday or only Saturday to Sunday, the registration price is the same. The full event per person is valued at $150. The Saturday Banquet and Sunday Farewell Breakfast together is $65. Plus the goodie bag and t-shirt too!! MM.Net has significantly contributed to cover the additional costs of the entire event. Our Supporting Vendors have made many generous donations of items for our onsite raffle. With over 100 people in attendance, the logistic will be complex. All the more reason we need EVERYONE to register if you are attending any portion of the event.

Please join us! You will not regret it, I can guarantee that!!! This will be my eighth Marauderville!! The Planning Team has worked tirelessly for almost a year to plan an amazing time! My hats off to the Team!! :2thumbs:
