View Full Version : Anyone see the movie Drive?

I saw it the minute it opened last friday morning at 12:04am. It reminded me of The Driver for the first 15 minutes... almost exactly. From the second row door being left opened to the route taken. The 80s throw back was cool and I haven't seen a movie in a long time with such a small amount of dialogue for the lead character. Almost like an old Western and pretty much like The Driver character "Driver."

Just wish it had a big chase at the end like The Driver, but other than that I liked it a lot.

What did you guys think?

call me crazy but i was hoping for a bit more "driving".

also theres no way that chrysler 300 is keeping up with a 5.0 mustang

Yes more driving would be more enjoyable. There is no comparison to the 70s flick The Driver.

The Mustang was in reverse, that's why the Chrysler kept up. :lol:

Saw the original, I like the cast of the new one, I may go see it. It seems to have all the things I like to see in a movie: Car chases and someone getting thier ass kicked.

I know that Brock Yates won't like it but I like Gumball Rally. The Daytona and Cobra at speed can't be beat.

It got its own chase scene; a pretty big part I'd say. It was one of the more intense scenes too.

I saw it a couple days ago. I realllly enjoyed it. I don't think it would disappoint anyone here. They even get a dig in on Chevy Impalas (current gen).

For a movie called Drive....it wasnt much of a chase film....I didnt like and am glad I didnt spend any money on it....the woman won tickets while we were out test driving a Focus Titanium.....nice car by the way, we just might get it.

But I say dont waste your money on that movie.
