I've searched the forums and Google a good bit and can't find anything.
Is there a shop that has Marauder specific parts? Interior pieces, bumper covers, etc

Well, first off, there is a whole section of vendors on this site that deal with anything Marauder. That's the first place to start.
Secondly, any member on here is willing to give advice on anything you may need; and where to get it.
THIS IS YOUR BEST ONE STOP SHOP. THIS SITE / AND MEMEBERS, ARE AWESOME.
I personally have never met one; but have gotten more help then I could EVER get anywhere I could think of.

Wow, now I feel brain dead. I never even thought about checking out the sponsor/vendor pages. :hide:

Don't feel bad, lol. Also, e-bay is useful for Marauder parts.

Why do I feel like I'm setting myself up? It's ok, I'll spring the trap. I threw away my dignity a long time ago! :banana2:
I saw the Marauder door sill plates in the vendor section. Those are beautiful! Stuff like that really. I know what to do with a Ford to get horsepower so that's not a concern. Really, I'm used to the Mustangs aftermarket. You can do so much to personalize them (and ruin them).

The Marauder is not a Mustang, that's something a lot of new owners always think. If anything its more so closely related to a Lightning in the sense its a heavy automatic vehicle. A good tuner for the MM can be a Mustang only tuner IF they also understand how to tune for driveability.
Sure some parts might work but without proper tuning all other mods are a waste. Sure it's got a motor basically from a Mach 1, but that Mach 1 weighs close to 1,000 lbs less than a Marauder does with fluids and driver.

Probably the most intelligent post that will be made all week! I really like your Lightning comparo.

Ask Marauderman how well a Mustang tune works in a Marauder...

Thanks, I wasn't under the impression it was a Mustang. That's why I got the Marauder and not a Mustang....
I get I'm the new guy and everything but talking to me like this is my first car isn't going to be productive for either of us.
I was looking mainly for interior styling and was merely curious whether the Marauders/Crown Vics/GM's had a similar market to the Mustang. I wasn't trying to say that they were the same car.
I'm not some douche that runs to autozone and get's a smartchips tuner and calls it a day. I've been around the block a couple times with Ford performance. I may not know as much as some of you but I've had 14 second cars all the way down to 9 (and I built the one that was 9 seconds)!
Ok, I just wanted to get that out of the way!
*edit : I've owned a Lightning too! I don't understand how the fundementals of making horsepower are different because it's heavy?

Let me clarify again. Interior styling mostly such as the door seal plates in the vendor section. Center console options? Dash covers? Floor mats?
My Toyota FJC, for instance, has a huge aftermarket. Things like auxillary fuel tanks, aftermarket center consoles, suspension components, etc.
I'm not too familiar with the Marauder suspension because I haven't had a chance to lift it up yet! My daughter may be born tomorrow so we have been doing last minute changes and cleaning to prepare.

Like Goldfinger said a limited market. Surprising too when you think how many CV's and GM's were made.
There are a couple of sites that do dash trim kits( wood grain and that sort) personally I like the MM dash as it came.
Dash covers are available and I believe BigDogJim has one that says Marauder. Try www.carmotorsports.com (http://www.carmotorsports.com).
Floor mats are of the generic kind but www.redlinetuning.com (http://www.redlinetuning.com) has aftermarket replacements that are nicer than the originals.
Most of the interior goodies are offered by fastblackmerc and he is a vendor here. He does a lot of LED kits and has sill plates and such. SRP is another vendor to check out for metal stuff.

I'm sure you weren't under the impression nor was I trying to imply anything. I was just making a simple statement as far as performance. You could be the new guy or the seasoned vet I would of said the same thing. There is a small community following the of MM (here) unlike the worldwide following a Mustang has. Most of us try to do our own custom stuff to really separate one from another.
I'm glad you're not that douche and now we can be friends.
There isn't too much difference with the fundamentals but the Marauder is a different animal. One of the biggest problems with the car from the start was having a high-rev power producing motor in a heavy car then not giving it different gears or boost to make up for the lack of power at the low-mid rpm range. Hence the reason why the Marauder project manager (before the project ended) wanted to put a blower on the car. Why do you think the Lightning had a s/c? SVT engineers knew it was going to need it.

Sometimes I have thin skin (i think if you're still in your 20's you get to?) so forgive me if I over-reacted.
My plan was actually to put an engine I have in it and throw on an F1R Procharger so I think that should get her phat a** movin.
What about control arms and such? Is there anything in that regard?

Well there are douches and douche bags so who knows. LOL
What engine do you already have? Centrifugal blowers are good but the best is a roots style blower for all around use. It gives the car that bottom end grunt that it really needs plus still delivering power through the rpm band.
Yes there are aftermarket control arms. Also def recommend to upgrade the front and rear sway bars with larger Addco sway bars. With new rear upper/lower control arms and front/rear sway bars the handling characteristics of the car total change in the good way, as we say here it makes it ride on rails.

I love the low end grunt of the roots style blowers, believe me. I've had Vortec's, Prochargers, Whipples, and Eatons. I know that the low end torque of a roots would be best for this application but I've had my heart set on an F1R setup for a long time. It's what we built the engine around.
The engine I have is a 5.5L big bore stroker based in a Darton wet sleeved teksid aluminum block. Sonny bryant billet stroker crank, Manley pro billet rods, L&M spec diamond pistons (thick ring lands), melling billet oil pump, arp hardware, race port "C" heads from Modular Performance (combustion chamber was enlarged to match big bore), custom cams from Bullet racing cams, enlarged valves, dual valve spring setup, innovators west 6 rib balancer, last but not least the combustion chamber, valves, exhaust ports, crank, rods, and pistons all coated by Polydyn. Basically built from the ground up for high boost. That's what I can remember off the top of my head! I commissioned this motor to be built for a 2003 Cobra I had but it's just barely being completed nearly 2 years later. The builder is taking his damned sweet time because he want's it to be perfect because he cant afford a mistake on it. I lost interest in the Cobra and sold the roller but still have the motor. May not be the ideal motor for a Marauder but it should do the trick. If I would have known it was going in a Marauder I probably would have done a 5.4 big bore build with a roots in mind.
Here is a couple old pictures of the parts! Some engine porn!!!
