Probably the same as the Ford, Gm, and Chrysler plants that used to be here.

A facility that's just over forty years old and looks to be in excellent repair - that actually goes beyond stupid!

I guess it's too old to depreciate anymore so the bean counters said get rid of it.

Too sad!

Ford will employ about 4,500 hourly workers and about another 1,500 salaried by September's end, with about another 1,000 on layoff in Canada. Honda employs about 4,500 while GM has 10,000 workers here, Toyota about 6,500 and Chrysler 7,800.
Ford remains the vehicle sales leader in Canada, with 14.1% of the car market in June. General Motors is second with 11.8% .

Time to punish those corporations who have turned their backs on their home turf, and by this i mean USA-Canada, support local wherever you are in the USA-Canada.
