Still floating around out here fighting off the heat as best as possible. The news media has really stopped reporting about any of the fighting that continues today. We have supporting our troops on the ground several time a day as they continue to have fights and skirmishes everyday. I guess the media just considers it as old news and not worth reporting anymore. I'm steadily counting down the days until we return to our homeport in greatest country in the world! The good ol' USA! I am missing everything about home. The oppurtunity to see the little one growing and the cool, cool weather that you all are experincing. The simple enjoyment of laying on a carpeted floor in front of a large TV! And yes, I'm missing my MM. Winter will be set in by the time I get back but will be driving it everyday. I am always talking about the MM and the all of you on here. When I have a decent Internet Connection, like right now, I show them what a real car club is all about. Next year, I should be rotating to shore duty, so hopefully I'll be able to attend more of the events, I can't wait to get home where I can get on this site a whole lot more. You All take it easy!

Thanks for your service, by the way I listen to the liberal hippies at NPR and I get regular news about the operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, the "Mainstream media" only tells us when a car bomb goes off.

BTW Happy 10'th anniversary

The funny thing is I was right here in the same place 10 years ago, a day that we started dropping them bombs on the bad guys and making them wish they had thought about what they had done to themselves instead.

Hey Juice, I'm riding the GHWB 77. Making history on her maiden deployment.

Definitely Casey, I still got your number, we'll have to get together some place to eat or something at least till spring then we'll start hitting up them car shows.

The media is more concern with politics right now and missing children.

Stay safe!

Think opsec, homie.

What difference does that make? That's like blurring out your license plate in pictures.
