Were at Great lakes Dragaway today for test & Tune, justbob and I rolled in around 11:30.Got teched in and mounted the DR's by 12:30
The track was packed, temps were mid 80*'s and dry with a slight breeze.
Between lots of racing and breakdowns we got our first run in at about 1:30
The# 93 Trilogy car & I went a new personal best of 12.49@110.24 with a 1.80 60'.
I couldn't pull a light to save my soul, I fouled out every run.
Two were at least -.0x but the last run,...Holly Molly I get to think about that all winter?:help:

Biscuits were NOT getting served up yesterday, that's FO SHO! The first thirty feet on the DR's either spun (Bradley didn't see any spin) or she pulled timing hard, I honestly couldn't tell? I've always averaged mid to high 1.7's 60 footers and this time was a record on streets for me at 1.9, the very same the # the DR's got me? And that was with nothing but spin for 20', let off, and reinsert foot on the long and skinny on the streets...
Who knows what happened, I could car less. For me it was the pleasure of seeing a good friend shatter his best ever by .3 and the look on his face was simply untypeable LOL, it was the generous offer of his DR's, the lunch he provided, and just good times hangin out, thrashin the ever ending crap out of our beauties with them holding up more than perfect and simply begging for more.
At least I can brag about consistancy! My R/T was .09 on both runs! Not a record for me, but pure awesome for back to back runs.

I know the feeling of spending time and money in an attempt to improve performance, and not always netting gains in time or numbers every time.
What I did learn is, jb is everso passionate about these cars and our friendship as well as all the membership.
I ran a faster time this day, but if we had lined up(faceoff) he would have schooled me Fo Sho!
If you are my apprentice jb, then I done good!!!:bows:Big props for paying my racing fees, looking forward to next time:beer:
Good job Brad. Lower temps will mean faster times. Don't drink so much coffee before you race so your reaction time slows down!:geezer:

I did consume lots of coffee, but that's not an excuse I'm gonna use.
Looking forward to seeing you too next time.

Thanks guys, it's been a blast each and every time I drive the thing.
The last time I had a passenger that asked for a,
"Let's see what this thing can do?" ride, I find out weeks later both the passenger and the small audience we had are still talking about how they have never seen a car smoke the tires like that from a roll.
The passenger also stated he will never ever get in it again.
