I Have a set-up kit for a Crown victoria it's an AED supercharger for 1999-2002 crown vic's with that bolt on supercharger would it be better than a stock MM 2003-2004 ???

Stock Marauder is about 240 HP at the rear wheel (302 at the flywheel - advertised). Please tell us what the CV is stock and what the AED supercharger adds to the HP. How much boost? Knowing there's a very wide range of added horsepower depending on boost and other options for the Marauder, it's hard to give you an answer without more details. Marauder is a 4 valve.

Possibly....depends on how much boost it makes and how much RWHP it lays down.

Stock Marauder is a low to mid 15 second car.
Stock Crown Vic is a low to mid 16 second car.

I'd go with the Marauder anyway....it's a much cooler car!.....:D

An AED enhanced 2V would be considerablely quicker than a stock Marauder.

The kit adds about 100 hp to the motor i was thinking about putiing on my police inter. Cv but it has 100k on so I still have the kit .

Not sure about boost I ask around

Yes it would be quicker compared to a stock MM. I had an AED kit years ago, nice setup. My kit had 5 or 6 lbs of boost, but like I said this was awhile ago.

Don't waste your time.on that blower unless your getting the kit for less than a grand.
It will make the CV a high 13 sec car but that's your ending point.
It's a lot cheaper to slap on a 125 shot, gears and stall. At the end of the day you will be fatser .

No way will an AED make a 13 sec 2v panther. I raced and beat a mint 2v with AED, longtubes and dynotune at a STAP meet best he ran was 14.4 -- I was N/A

that's even sadder, well the one I saw at the Track ran 13.9 at 100mph.
It had gears and longtubes also.

IIRC AED sold 2 kits, one was 6 lbs boost, the other was 9. If you have the 6 lb kit, go ahead and install it...unless your car was really abused and is on its last legs, it should be able to handle 6 lbs easily.

working on the vic this weekend

PI headswap on a NPI block the compression ratio raises and high compression and boost doesn't always mix well.

PI headswap , the PI heads with cams, PI cam sprockets, PI headgaskets, headbolts PI coolant tube, PI coolant nipple , fuel pump, injectors, MAF, computer tune, torque converter and flexplate. The PI and Marauder torque converters are a smaller diameter unit so i can rev it up to 6500 and use the newfound airflow mm box

Yeah, but there was a guy that knew how to sell. Heck, he'd get you to buy a blower made for '99 car for your '05, along with a year's supply of OxyClean...
