View Full Version : Torque Converter
Can anyone tell me if the torque converter in the Grand Marquis or the Crown Vic are interchangeable with the Marauder or are they a totally different breed.
Thanks:

Are you looking to install the Marauder converter in a Crown Vic.?
I wouldn't go the other way because the Marauder has a slightly higher stall.
But to your question,if the Vic or GM has a 4R70W then yes the MM converter will bolt up.
Wanna buy a used (22k mile Marauder Converter?)

Thanks for the info. No on the used Converter we just pulled a Stallion 2800 with less than 2k on it which we are going to sell. We put the stock Marauder back in. We just installed the Eaton :burnout: Supercharger which makes a ton of low end torque and we were kicking the idea around of installing the GM or Vic with the lower stall for traction, hadn't heard of anyone else trying anything like that.
