What exactly is the benefit of having a pro guard?

It prevents rear bumper sag.

BirchMarauder

Doesnt it keep the wind from blowing up inside the rear bumper causing unnecessary drag on the car?

Doesnt it keep the wind from blowing up inside the rear bumper causing unnecessary drag on the car?Its primary purpose is to prevent the rear bumper from ballooning at highway speeds. It also helps with the sag issue...

No. But you will get less wind drag and high speeds giving you maybe 1mpg. Less effort of the gas pedal. Bumper won't bend out. Worth the 60bucks Easy to install

If you already have bumper sag started, it won't help you. However, I did put it on over the bumper lip for awhile but it was then visible from the back of the car.

By installing one will it make you smarter, fix that falling out hair, raise your IQ, help you lose weight, make you attractive to the ladies (and some men) and you will become a pro at something. Just kidding, I have one and they are great to have.

Pro guard may have value if you drive over medians, as LEOs do, it may lessen the chance the rear bumper cover will get ripped off. That is what they was designed to do. Everything else is a marketing BS, support for a weasel vendor and an assault on your CC balance. I had one for about 7 years, I had bumper sag for 7 years and ever worstening gas mileage as I upgraded from single to twin screw Trilogies:D That part I liked. I have followed Marauders on the TRACK OF COURSE in excess of 140 mph and have not seen an example of bumper balloons. All of that doesn't make bumper guards a bad thing....just don't expect more than what they were designed to do...and stay off medians. Dennis:beer: ps..your friends will NOT think you are more intelligent...honest.
