We're home safe, too! Got in about 1:20 pm. At a beautiful sunny day to drive.

Just came in the door at 2:30 pm. Enjoyed convoying home behind this hot guy in a big black Marauder!! :cool: What a gorgeous day! Stopped by the old church and cemetery to show Mr. Man the scene of my assault Thursday night. Walked that stretch of road looking for grill teeth. Didn't find any of those, but lots of headlight lens pieces scattered on both sides. BTW Buddy says that he really enjoyed meeting our Marauder friends and members!

Thanks to everyone who organized the event!!! It was truly spectacular.

It was great to see everyone - I had a great time at the MV9 events and my family loved Hershey Park (and the hotel, and the pool....).

Even though I left Hershey/Harrisburg with a bad taste in my mouth, this by no means reflects on the efforts of the planning team or 99% of the members in attendance. But as it is with any group in society, it only takes one to bring the parade down to zero.

We arrived home at about 2:00 PM. Very nice scenic run all the way home. Now all unpacked, food shopping complete and had a "afternoon nap" to rest up from the very active week of events and happenings at MV9.

What a Great Trip !!! Can't wait to do it again. :up:

1st way stop, St. Louis, Mo. Made over 800 miles, Patricia spelled me for about an hour. Felt good, arrived 9:30 PM. Visit with oldest. On to Arkansas Wednesday to visit youngest.
Made a side trip on scenic route 30, Lincolin Way. Beeeautiful.

Go2GalFL reports smooth trip with girls and home around 11:30 PM via AirTran to Orlando. Shuttle service provided by G'pa and G'ma. Of course, I had to entice them by letting them drive the Silver Birch for the round trip back to Palm Coast.

Just a few notes about my journey:

-Stopped in Salem, VA on the way up to grab lunch...looked at my speedo and odometer was at 77777...will post the pic when I get home today.
-Averaged 23.7mpg on way up, 23.5mpg on way home...guess they should've used my MM to determine mpg before they nixed the 4.10s. Was usually doing 8-10mph over posted speed limit, sometimes a llittle more.

-On the way home, decided to keep track of left-laners, 'bad' truckers, etc...
Left-laners by state:
PA - 2; WV - 1; VA - 6; NC - 2; SC - 2
Truckers that cut me off and made me slow down: 6 Cars: 8
Gave one guy the 'stare down' after he forced his way between me and the car in front of me...his back bumper was 2, maybe 3 feet in front of me. I finally got to pull up beside him, stared at him for a good 4 or 5 seconds, then floored it and watched him disappear in my rear view mirror.
Flipped someone off in VA...musta been the #5 or #6 left-laner.

I was guilty of texting while driving and hit the 'rumble strips'....twice.

Ready to do it all over again...is it Sept '12 yet?

Stopped at daughters for a two day rest. 850 more miles to New Orleans. Will be there sometimes this week. Loved going through the mountains. Great pictures and good turns. The highest hill in Louisiana is 30 ' high.

Beautiful day, minimal traffic, very relaxing.

We Left the PennNational Race/Casino Saturday night and arrived in Reading, PA same evening. Left PA this morning (Monday) and got home in Vermont around 8 PM. Raining here! MV9 was a fantastic experience!
