This is why I haven't been post a lot lately. I've been busy working my butt off to finish the car before the shootout.
Here is the engine powdercoated the valve covers, alt bracket and crossover tube red. upper and lower intake along with the s/c tubing was done in a two base coat. it is black with a grey sparkle behind it. and the 'got boost' plaque is something I just did last night.
The wheels are done in gloss black with the calipers in red. This red is called blood red or crimson. I had them widened to 9.5 with Nitto NT05's on them. These hook and go!
We did:
Mevotech front upper control arms
front lower Moog balljoints
addco sway bars with Moog endlinks
Parker oil separator
port/polish upper and lower intake
Ford Racing 4:10's
Auburn posi unit

Yeah Landy did an awesome job on it. I have pictures somewhere in my phone or laptop. Still trying to make them bigger for thread. Will post them soon. U going to sshs?

Great job Levi, looks awesome! BC4E told me all about the uppers and lower install. I don't know if he told ya, but I was having my 01 Cobra cams put in the same day. Looks really sharp.:beer:

Quite a big difference see posts http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=74820 IDK about the tune, right now nothing so far. Seems like the jury's out on that one. But a big difference.

Yes the have different brackets, from 14.0 to run what you brung.

I cant say Im a big fan of red but it looks really good behind the black wheels on the calipers! The engine bay looks amazing. Great job bro!

We'll get some numbers and photos up soon. Been working crazy hours to fund the shootout trip. They have four different bracket classes so you would run in your time class. Pretty fun. I won second place Last year in the street outlaw class.
