It is bugging me, that the dome light illuminate during open the doors or if i turn the dimming knop, that all lights burn. how can i change this mode, like the police dark mode at the marauder?

What exactly do you want to happen? Do you want to be able to open any door and NO lights at all come on? Or, do you just want the dome light to not come on when the doors open or the dimming knob is turned all the way? When do you want the dome light to turn on?
I beleive there is a way to enable dark mode. But it sounds like you might just want to remove the bulb from the dome...
I can check the manual if you're interested....

i want, that i can open any door and only the floor light is on. when i press the spots, the have to work
I too am looking to enable the Crown Vic P71 police "Dark Mode," but at will and go a bit further. I want ALL the lights off. Perhaps an under dash switch so if I want it, I can turn on dark mode, but if I want to go back to 'normal' I can to do so. On my Crown Vics it was as simple as cutting one wire to enable, or rather disable, the all interior lights when the doors are open. In order to turn the lights on I would have to manually turn the dome light on with the dimmer switch.
Any suggestions?
BTW, my first post here. New-to-me 2004 Marauder owner and extremely happy. :)

The wiring diagram shows, on page 58-4, an optional connection from pin 7 of the LCM to ground is present on models: "Police, with courtesy lamp disable". I believe this is how you enable dark mode.
That is, pin 7 of connector c2145c. It looks like there are 3 connectors to the LCM: 1 black and 2 gray. One gray connector has 22 pins, the other 16 pins. It's pin 7 on the 16 pin connector.http://img.tapatalk.com/ae77a903-e7d3-753c.jpg

I don't know the exact effect though. It might just shut off all of the lights, not just the dome lamp.

I don't mind it coming on when I open the door. I just hate the way it stays on forever after I've shut the door unless you immediately put the key in the ignition. Just complaining...

i decide me for the solution with the knob in the overhead console. now, if i open any door, only the floor light and the rear reading lamps are on. if i press the knob all lights works like usual.
