Ive shot many times in the past but Ive recently taken an interest to self defense shooting. I picked this gun to conceal carry and im going to practice as much as I can so im always prepared for the unthinkable.

Here in Chicago (Cook County), we're coming up for a vote on CC weapons. I hope it passes, the criminal elements here have more right than they should have. I think we are the last state to pass the CC weapons law (if it passes).

Looks like it's chambered in .40S&W? That's my favorite pistol cartridge.

2.4shofast, we should hit the range some time, man.

Nice weapon. im a owner of many many weapons (about 17). i've fired that model a few times but dont own it for myself. BEST choice for holster i've found and own for every handgun is this ----> http://www.smartcarry.com it straps to YOU vs weight on your pants. i wear mine with gym shorts, sweats, summer time tank tops, anything you wear. IT WILL NOT FALL OUT. on the site it shows to be worn i the front but it doesn't have to be i adjust mine front, back, sides and no one knows its there.

Ive been thinking about getting something small to keep in my front pocket and I held this Ruger LC9 this past Friday and I really liked it. One of the smallest 9MM out there

I have the LCP Ruger in 380. Light enough to dump into your pocket & walk away. I got the Blackhawk size 2 holster that protects the trigger but allows you to pull the gun out of your pocket while the holster stays in the pocket. No safety on the LCP, but a long trigger pull.
On any of the small pistols, practice regularly.
