It doesn't even make sense just looking at it, it looked like he was barely moving at all, then he decided to punch it as hard as he could, then we he felt traction loss he was like "damn, time to apply MORE throttle to fix the spin."

Maybe it'd be easier to understand his fail from a different angle...

From the angle of the video it looks like the course design was way closer to the curbs then it should have been. Then again that section didn't have any significant turns so the designers likely thought it wouldn't be a concern.

Could have been a banana peel...

Well he's has that bra on the car. Maybe he can stretch it over the rightside and hit the track.

Mustangs outpace the Vette by 7 to 1.

They guy in the blue jacket with the radio also says .... "Get over here ASAP, We need medical". So I don't think the guy was OK. Side hit ... neck injury?? Not funny.

bummer, just shows you what can happen. He/she looked like they were in very good control until that point, one little touch of the throttle at the wrong time can be plenty dangerous, hope they are ok
