I thought DeLoreans had American Motors engines and drive trains. No kidding.

That's the problem Mac, he never owned it.
Oh and American Motors power trains were used in Bricklins not Delorneans!

No it was a 351 Clev. but the brakes on Bricklins are AMC though. But the DeLorean had a Volvo power train. just a crying shame that he dumped the body part dies in the Irish Sea. :depress: :nono: :nono: That was a bonehead move if I ever seen one.

Some Bricklins had AMC engines, and some had the 351C, so you're both right.

DeLorean's had a V6, all Aluim., ohc,with hemi heads, but were dogs with 130hp. They were based on the PRV (Peugeot/Renalt/Volvo) engines. They were working on a twin-turbo package when John was "set-up" on the drug deal. :pimp:

Man...I loved watching that auction! WTF is up with some of those guys being able to win bids on several of those cars?! I must be doing something wrong!

I thought the DeLoreans were equipted with fux capasitors and plutonium combustion chambers. 6 cylinders heh now im glad i didn't buy one..
