The stick doesn't reach so I put OEM stick in and hits oil just fine. It just plugs right in doesn't it?

Didn’t want to make a new thread for a simple issue...
My Lokar is not reaching oil, I know I have 6qts in the engine, any ideas?

I have the same dip stick mounted. I do know it is a pita to read level on a fresh oil change using Motorcraft 5 20. I replace one quart with Royal Purple to make it show better on stick.

Is it not the correct depiction? I just wished to illustrate the subject of the thread...

Sorry, I was confused. That is the correct part number, and that is what it looks like,it just takes good eyes to read very fresh oil on it.

No, I'm not trying to flame anybody - I thought an illustration would be nice since I had never heard or seen one of these accessories before. Here's another depiction:

No worries, it’s a real nice piece. The stock ones often times get mangled trying to remove them so it’s not a bad idea to add one if the time ever comes, especially if you have or plan on getting LT headers.

Sorry for the threadjack, but at least it's similar.
Has anyone used the Lokar Transmission dipstick?

My Trilogy install make getting at the dipstick a real PITA and methinks this may be a solution.

Am I the only one who cut a slot in the header flange? Did not have to disrupt the dipstick tube at all.
