That's what they're paying here in Qatar. 1 Riyal per liter, that calculates to $1.04 US for a gallon of 97 octane, pure gasoline (no 10% ethanol crap).

Have seen a couple Crown Vics and a GM, but no Marauders so far.

Lotsa Vettes and new Camaros, too.

I am not trying to be a douche because I do realize the above was said in jest, but unfortunately my inner monologue doesnt work too well if the joke doesn't fit the facts (particularly when it involves an immutable trait like race or further perpetuates a misconcieved stereotype).

I believe the octane standard used in Qatar, as well as a lot of other countries not called the United States, is calculated a bit different than in the United States. Ran into this issue a few years ago (well, its not really an issue because it still works out to better than U.S. 93 octane). Was a very interesting discussion.
