Ooh you missed quite a bit Dave. In short, Marty got a good buy on a black with low mileage and a blower, when that went through, Marty mentioned selling his Blue and I jumped on it. Posted my car for sale on the site here, new member in North Carolina jumped on it and picked her up last night. I'm going to Marty's tomorrow with check in hand

Hey Brad I think You can forget BLUEBYU Joann and I went to apply for a tag down here in Cochran, GA for our new Blue Marauder. We were informed it was already taken. We settled for JOSBLUE. We did not have to put in a list we just told them what we wanted and they immediately looked it up and said yea or nay. Good luck with your choice.

They told us about three weeks. The last two plates took more like four weeks or a little more. They did give us a laminated temporary plate to put on the car so we can drive it. But you should be able to use your old plate off the Black until the new one comes in. I think maybe we should have asked the COLLECTIVE for suggestions for our Blue too. They have quite a few good ones. Hopefully we can meet up for this months breakfast and drive the Big Blue.

However, the story you heard goes like this:

There IS a town called Plano, Illinois; it's in Kendall County on Route 34. There's a tall story that says there are plans to construct a new town among the corn fields along Route 34 between Plano and Sandwich. The proposed name of this fictitious town was going to be "Bologna," so heading west on Route 34, a traveler would encounter "Plano", "Bologna", and "Sandwich" in that order.

I lived in Napervillle and never really got our that way hardly at all. I think I was told that as a kid, and my mind warped it in to being factual. I like the back story cause I remembered something about that

WTF! Took them 100 days to do my tag... rode around 3 months with a paper plate. And they told me i couldnt use my old tag cuz it was not registered to the vin anymore, i would get a ticket for invalid tags or some ish.... maybe its just Gwinnett... ... or cuz im blaaaaaaaaaaa.... :)
