My Buddy Derrick's Rat Rod

Derrick does a lot of paint work for us at the shop and is a great personal friend. He also does work for White Knuckles (who is always trying to jump the line and get ahead of me!!! :mad2: ).

This is a rat rod that Derrick is working on right now. If I fit in it when it is done, I hope this truck will end up in my garage!!! :grin:

It is a '48 Ford pick up on a bagged S10 chasis with a 5 speed.

I think it is pretty cool!

Flat black with 2 silver stripes. Flathead V8.
Cool truck but like John said, not exactly roomy in the cab.

Well its a 1950 Cadillac series 64, 4 door. Shes bagged in all 4 corners with 2600lb bags. Front has a cup set-up and the rear is a 2-link w/ panhard bar (soon to be 4-linked) the rear is a bag-on-bar setup. Shes currently running a 8 valve set-up running off of a scuba tank. She had a 331 with a hydramatic 4 speed auto but the motor is tired as well as the trans. I just finished building a bored out cadillac 472 (484) and had a turbo 400 built for her. She will be running a tri-power set up with 3-2bbl Rochesters or something.


In 2010 she won the Modified Cadillac of the Year award:
