C&D TV tested Ford GT, Porsche GT and Ferrari. They said Ford GT was the clear winner. The C&D Test was not any where near that!

Todd, I just can't stop watching that commercial!!! I loaded it in my PC so I'll have it for good. When I wake up in the morning, I have to turn on my PC and watch that commercial. I can't help it. It's an obsession!!! Maybe I can place a deposit for the 2006 model now, and by then I'll come up w/the down payment that they require(50K). That would be the only way for me to own or even lease one(yes, I'm so crazy about that car that I would consider leasing it, just so I can get behind the wheel for a couple years). Either way, they want a minumum downpayment of 50K.

From what I've seen of that car, there's absolutely nothing about it that I do not like, and it's been literally decades since I've said that about any other new car.......

it handles excellent like many exotic mid-engine cars do, according to those who have driven it and wrote about their experience,it blasts through a quartermile at the dragstrip in 11.8 seconds on street tires, and goes from 0-60 MPH in 3.5-3.8 seconds depending on who drives it. And at the same time looks better than any other new car on the market IMO. And what I also luv about it, is that it has a good ole V8 engine w/that great V8 growl......... in fact.........."I think I just wet myself".........(as one test driver once put it).

......alas.....if only uncle Marty will buy me one.......
