Ahh... No thanks. :shake:

Too much "bling" for me! Although having amber lights in the wheels would help keep the idiots from running in to the MM! :)

The set on the BMW doesn't look too bad at all, if almost a little too bright. Looks at lot better in motion though too.

The SUV though, god.....it's another example of taking something that could have potential to be nice and ruining it by taking it to an absurd extreme.

On a side note, yesterday the police in Prince George's County, MD busted up a Wheel/Rim theft ring responsible for the theft of thousands of dollars of expensive wheels in the DC Metro area. They targetted the big SUVs like the Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, etc. Police found many of the stolen rims stacked up in sets and ready for sale.

The thieves performed their work in two stages. Step 1 was to have someone loosen all of the lugnuts at some point early in the night. Step 2 came back and grabbed the wheels like a NASCAR pit crew.

Police were able to track the thieves because they used the same type of concrete paving/retaining wall blocks in every theft. They were traced back to a home improvement store where some of the thieves worked during the day. I am guessing that they didn't pay for the blocks either.

According to the news report, car dealers in PG County, MD have filed over $600,000 in claims for stolen wheels in the past year. For Fairfax County, VA dealer insurance claims are closer to $750,000. Police estimate that losses from private owners are at least "double" those numbers. Really big business.

I hope the four punks responsible for all these PG thefts get what they deserve and that they are off the streets for 10 or more years.
