As you all know I bought his (Speed aka Tony) car over the Thanksgiving weekend.
I wired the money to his bank first thing that Monday morning and the bank agreed to send the title to me directly. Well, instead they sent the title to Tony but at an old address. Can you say "lost title"????? :argue:
Well over the past couple of weeks we have been battling to get the bank to replace the title, and that was finally in process.
A few days ago, the original "lost" title showed up with Tony and he overnighted it to me at his expense! Needless to say, I will be at my tag office Monday registering the car!!!
Tony has been a complete gentlemen throughout this transaction.
He is an exemplary member of this community.
I hope I get to meet him in person some day!!!

Hats off too Tony for being a stand up guy. It takes two to tango, i tip my cap to both of you. :)
Tony is a "LOCAL C.A.M MEMBER" and one who I have had a few transactions with. All of them were smooth as silk!
He might be kinda quiet here on the site but best believe he's one of the best of us!

Thanks Marty,
That is the least I could do and I appreciate you being patience with the bank's hicups. I'm a firm believer that one should stand by his or her word and communication is truly becoming a lost art as well as a firm hand shake was good as a mans word. Truly looking forward to meeting you someday..

That's what makes working with other members so great, more times than not you end up working with genuinely good stand up people that do the right thing.
Glad everything worked out

I've also purchased a car from Tony 2001 White P71. Also I sold Tony my S/C kit and variously parts off my other MM when it was totaled. And thru both transactions everything was smooth. Great member he is of our community.

Tony is a great guy. Met him when he flew into town a few years ago to buy my P71.
BTW: Was it your Marauder that you sold to Marty?

The white P71 is still rolling smooth with a new upper intake and new exhaust manifold gaskets.

We will do just the "topsides:" meaning the hood, roof, and trunk. The rest is salvageable by cutting and buffing.
It doesn't hurt that my best friend is a helluva painter!
