Dear God,
I don't want much for Christmas, I just want the person reading this to be happy .
Friends are the fruit cake of life - some nutty, some soaked in alcohol, some sweet - but mix them together and they're my friends.
Love ya.

BTW I know I'm the sweet one, but Eric swears he's NOT nutty OR soaked in alcohol so he wants to know where that leaves him...:D

Hope everyone had a great holiday.

I know this will never come to pass, because Dec 25 is THE day for Christmas, but, if there ever was a holiday that might possibly be better celebrated on a Sunday, Christmas might be the one.

When you figure that you want a night with your own personal family (Christmas eve), and still want time to see your relatives and your spouse's family, celebrating the holiday on Sunday and Monday works out perfectly.

Usually, we lose some folks at our family dinners because they have to leave to visit their spouse's family, or, in some instances, thay have to make a decision who to see and who not to see.

Just a passing thought.

Happy New Year!

It's a good thought!! It also helps when you have family members that understand that. My parents and brother and sister agreed several years ago that we could have our celebration on Christmas Eve. That way, all of us visit our spouses families on Christmas Day. It's worked out well for several years, now. So I have a great appreciation for my family and I tell them that every year on Christmas Eve!!!!

Happy, healty new year everyone!!!
