So early this year, I bought a pedal car.

I brought the pedal car to my buddy Derrick Smith (Deeznuts on here) who does all of my autobody and paint work (and is also a great buddy of mine).

The pedal car started out like this:

By the time, I got it to Derrick, it started to get a little rusty and looked like this:

Derrick sand blasted the car and primed it:

Then off to the paint booth the car went:

The wheels also got paint and hand-pinstriping:

Well today Derrick called and said he was dropping by. When I went out to his truck, he surprised me with this:

I brought it in the house and took these pictures:

That's awesome Marty, total blast from the past and it turned out great. All you need now is some fender badges

Nice job Marty! I feel sorry for little kids today; they might get a plastic battery powered thingy that might last a few weeks and help them get fat; we had steel pedal cars that if you got to the top of the hill on the street, put your feet up on the hood you could come tear-assing down the street at maybe 30 mph! (helmets?? ha ha!)
