What tune do you just have to crank when you get in for a cruise?
I'm considering putting together a CD to commemorate the 7th annual Louisville meet, so what tune makes you want to mesh the pedal?
We'll assume all of Guspech's will be from the Backstreet Boys and strike them from this album

I've been thinking about this:
Thunder Road:
The only song to crank on the first "spring-like" day (with windows down):
"Roll down the windows and let the wind blow back your hair"
Free Bird
Don't Ask Me No Questions
Workin for MCA
Call me the Breeze (for Billy's piano solo)
I ain't the one
La Grange
Kickstart my Heart
Paranoid
Highway Star (Deep Purple - Named our Car Club in H.S. "Highway Stars")
Dreams - Van Hagar - Good highway/high speed song
That's a good start.

Old fart here...
Guess our MM CD from 2003 is outdated. Spent a lot of time and effort putting that CD together, but it's old now. Was some good songs and tunes, and it lived a long time. But, every "mod" from the old daze has it's life span. Guess this CD has seen better days.
Put me on the list for the new edition, eh? I enjoyed the snot out of the CD from MV9, though it took me a while to get up to speed on it.
Lots of ideas out here, and some are repeats of time honored masterpieces. Be that as it is, get something together and I'll buy a copy once the dust settles.
Y'all be safe, enjoy 2012.
Mac.
Mr. Man
12-31-2011, 10:11 PM
I made a collection for MV9 that is basically what you are trying to do. Unfortunately you couldn't make the event and didn't get a copy and there were none left so I can't send you one.
I had a kid who knows computers put the CD together with a list of songs I provided. Wish he didn't put the live version of AC/DC's Riff Raff on it, the studio version is better.
I tried to pick old school and some newer stuff to. Go with the studio versions they are much better.
I've started my MV10 list, if Pops is interested I'll see about bringing a bunch for everyone. Going to go a different direction this time.:)
