That guy is wearing a T-shirt and the girl is all bundled up in a fur coat?

My knowledge of the 64 Marauder is very limited. If the hubcaps or badges aren't correct for the 64, then I have no clue what they SHOULD look like.

You win the privilege of being only half right. What else is missing?

Here's the '64 model and the '64 print ad .... print ad car has 4 doors. Was this ^^^^^ one supposed to have "Park Lane" ID on the rear fender? And no Marauder "Flag" badging on front fender.

There's the other half of the answer. Missing the Marauder emblem AND the flag as seen on this Monterey Marauder

How bout this '64 Marauder prototype
http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii12/Kirk_D/1964Marauderprototype.jpg

Check out the Marauder script and flag on the rear quarter, and no Monterey, etc. (sorry, I know it's a little hard to see)

My thoughts...

In pic #1, It's not a house in the background, it's a horse barn. Anyone remember the TV series "Mr. Ed"? The horse is not "anemic", rather, it's in perfect form for a race horse pulling a jockey driven charriot, which can be seen in the pic.

The woman is not wearing a fur coat, she has long auburn hair and a light sweater contemporary to the time. I don't recall the name of the sweater, it was a style back then which had the life span of a "baby on board" decal. Moreover, back then
women didn't appear in public in anything but a skirt. Women who wore slacks or "jeans" in public in those days were considered "easy" or members of a "sicle gang". Ford would never allow this to appear in 1963 advertisements.

Pic #1 doesn't show it, but pic #2 does. In pic #2, Marauder fender badges are present, but in two pieces. One was the flag, the other was the "Marauder" badge, each presented correctly with the flag leading.

How do I know? I did a lot of research before crafting the fender badges many of y'all wear today. Delivered as a correct left/right set, some of y'all got 'em backwards, but so what, eh? As long as you got a set, wear 'em like you seen 'em.

The mention of a large red and white vehicle escaped me. Didn't see it Ms. Denmark, sorry. Would be interesting to see more if you can redirect my attention.

Just my .02c, y'all carry on.

And be SAFE in the New Year, happy 2012 to all.

Mac.

The two lights on the sides of the door are not even?

Woman is not wearing panties?

That's her gay brother eyeing up the horse?

What is it?

Mac look into the big picture window to see the rear of the red and white car and to the left of the house to see the front of what might be the front of the car.

The vehicle in the top left looks like it has a white hood and red quarter panel. To me, it looks like a the front of a pickup truck. The red car you can see through the house seems to be solid red. The white fence gives it the appearance that is red and white as well as the continuum of the first vehicle.

Nothing is wrong. It is a BLUE and is the color to be respected. The only true Marauder color, the rest are just wannabees

I notice the driver's side mirror is round. My '64 has a trapezoidal type of shape. Did Mercury use 2 different shapes or could one be after market?

Not sure about '64, but '63 had at least 2 different side mirrors.
