Gear Shift

Happy New Year fellas....
My gear shift is getting a little loose and i need some guidance for taking off all this miscellaneous stuff around to tighten it up.
I dont know if this stuff screws in or pops right off. I dont want to break any tabs off, if there are any.

Assuming you mean the leather covered grip ..... nothing needs to be taken-off.
grasp the black collar under the grip and push-down. *It may take a bit of effort.
there are 2 screws in the back that can be tightened.
