40,000 New Laws took effect, Be Carefull!

About 40,000 state laws taking effect at the start of the new year will change rules about getting abortions in New Hampshire, learning about gays and lesbians in California, getting jobs in Alabama and even driving golf carts in Georgia.

Several federal rules change with the new year, too, including a Social Security increase amounting to $450 a year for the average recipients and stiff fines up to $2,700 per offense for truckers and bus drivers caught using hand-held cellphones while driving.

Yes all Company's are putting out memos to driver's about cell phone fines it will be $2,750.00 for useing a cell phone while driving a comerical vehicle. Bluetooth is not allowed either and just about all Company's had written memos about using them prior to the new law. Also if the Company's tell driver's to answer phone while driving then the Company's will pay a $10,000.00 fine:)

Fun stuff for sure. Now tell me how two-way radio's are safer?

Even the handheld Radios. You know there are codes that make the conversation
shorter.

I'm not worried about the phone laws and my class A cdl. I never answer my phone even when I am not driving!! That's just how I roll!!

Why not train to use a hand held Cell or hands free while driving? Is it about safety or is it about TYRANNY?

What our Gov't has done is to make every thing illegal thereby making us all criminals. The Gov't now decides who is "free" and who is not by selective prosecution.
The Gov't will complete the process of dividing us into to groups, pitt one against the other.
The first step towards enslavement is to divide into groups.

I say we vote everyone out of office and from here on everyone only gets 1 term. Multiple terms and they become Royalty, they become insluated from the laws they pass. They no longer represent anyone but themsleves.

Gov't Debt is the shackle of Tyranny to Eternal Indentured Servitude.

Backseat passengers have to be buckled up in Illinois. That law was passed so police will always have probable cause to pull you over now. All they have to say is they thought the back passengers weren't buckled up, had to stop them and see for sure, oh wait, what's this? 40 cartons of ciggs from another state that you are giving away to familiy and friends because you can get them for 4.58 a pack in Virginia instead of 8 bucks a pack here? Tsk, tsk, sailor. Just sayin'....;)
